Rtn Eswar Reddy, is a Senior Director of IT Operations at a global manufacturing company in the US. It’s the intersection between IT and manufacturing that he truly enjoys about his work. His curiosity to learn and experience new things influenced his early career in India. After studying mechanical engineering, he spent over a decade working in power plant equipment manufacturing. Later, he pursued ERP software training specific to manufacturing and transitioned to IT, moving from India to the Middle East to gain experience and confidence before eventually moving to the U.S. Throughout this journey, his curiosity has never wavered. Not only has it allowed him the freedom to take risks professionally, but it has also helped him develop compassionate collaboration skills — active listening, self-awareness, and being open-minded when working with teams across continents. His family includes his wife Lalitha. Married for 35 years, Lalitha is a software developer. Their son Kedar works as a product manager for a nonprofit, and daughter Kirti is currently a senior in college.He has three siblings, two of whom reside in the U.S. and another near to his parents in Andhra Pradesh in India. In his free time, he enjoys reading and watching documentaries and practicing sustainability daily, including composting and organic vegetable gardening in his backyard. As a Rotary Club member, he is passionate about contributing to service projects that make a difference in disadvantaged communities.
